Questions shops ask first
Straight answers from how XeroBot actually works.
Do I need a new printer or kiosk?
No. XeroBot is software for a Windows PC connected to the copier or printer you already own. There is no proprietary kiosk hardware requirement.
How do customers send files?
Two supported paths: scan the shop QR and upload in the browser, or send files to the shop WhatsApp number. Both use the rotating 4-digit access code shown at the shop.
Is there a revenue share on each print?
No. You keep 100% of print revenue. XeroBot does not take a cut of each job.
What about customer document privacy?
Files are transferred over HTTPS for printing and then deleted. The product is designed so customer documents are not retained as a long-term cloud archive.
Does it support UPI and cash?
Yes. On the QR upload flow, customers can choose UPI or cash at shop. WhatsApp jobs commonly settle cash at the counter (as shown on the shop poster).
Can I run more than one printer?
Yes. The agent supports configuring multiple printers, including parallel printing in current Windows agent releases.
Is passport photo printing included?
Yes. The Windows agent includes a passport photo maker for cropping and generating passport-size sheets.
